Makeup has become a necessity in some people’s lives. It can help bring out your favorite features, hide flaws and make you feel more confident. Though, makeup may seem like a girls best friend, it may not be the healthiest to have it all over your face on a daily basis. With our current situation of being home more often, there’s an opportunity to wear less to no makeup! You will see a great change in your skin that will satisfy you for years to come.

Wearing too much makeup can expose the skin to a chemicals and toxins. Makeup can cause skin irritation and allergies. If you feel like you’re having an allergic reaction you should remove your makeup immediately. Giving up your daily routine of makeup may seem hard, but here are some benefits of halting back some makeup that might make you change your mind!

You’ll start to experience fewer breakouts. The more makeup you use, the more toxins you’re putting on your face. Using a makeup brush too often without cleaning it will also build up gross dirt and bacteria that will clog your pores.
