Who is Keemokazi?
American social media star, YouTuber and rapper Kareem Hesri – aka Keemokazi – was born under the zodiac sign Sagittarius on 29 November 2002 in California USA. He’s perhaps known best for his presence on the internet, including his YouTube channel “Keemokazi”, which he launched on 10 April 2015 and which is today subscribed to by close to 8.5 million people. He’s posted more than 1,100 videos, and all of these together number over 8.7 million views; Keemokazi was initially mostly into uploading his original songs, but is today into sharing videos which feature him during his everyday life, whether he’s spending time with friends, travelling or taking on internet challenges.
Early life and education
Keemokazi was raised alongside his five sisters Sima, Saby, Serene, Sara and Sophie in California, by their Syrian parents who moved to the US not long before they had their first child; their mother Nina Hazem is a homemaker and is also active on various social media networks, and their father’s a businessman, but his name remains undisclosed. Keemokazi’s featured his family in many of his Instagram pictures and videos; he and his father have posed shirtless in several pictures, as they’re both quite muscular. Keemokazi’s sister Serene beat stage 3 Hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer in September 2021.
Keemokazi studied at a local high school in California, and was passionate about multiple activities while there as he played soccer, appeared in a couple of school plays and ran track. It was during those four years that he began building a fanbase for himself on the internet and as he was already somewhat popular by the time he matriculated in 2021, Keemokazi moved to Los Angeles, California to continue working on his way up on the internet rather than enrolling at college.

Keemokazi’s nowadays mostly popular on YouTube for his short videos, most of which are comedy content and show him pranking his family and friends, taking on internet challenges and telling jokes. His #1 video “I Put Hair Removal in Her Conditioner” has been watched nearly 160 million times since 3 July 2022 and has amassed over 5.3 million times; it features Keemokazi pranking his sister by putting hair removal gel into her hair conditioner. He only did this because she’d previously pranked him in a similar manner.
Keemokazi’s second most popular video “My Dad Said This to the Waiter” has been watched over 145 million times since 17 July 2022, and has amassed more than 6.3 million times; it features Keemokazi’s father telling a waiter at the restaurant that his daughter thinks he’s cute.
His #3 video “My Sister Thinks I’m Cute” has been watched nearly 110 million times since 22 September 2022 and has amassed close to four million likes; it features Keemokazi’s sister telling him that he’s cute.

Together with his YouTube channel, Keemokazi’s social media accounts represent his main source of income.
Nearly four million people are following him on Instagram, and he’s shared close to 550 pictures and videos; most feature him spending time with his family, working out at the gym and travelling around the US.

Keemokazi’s followed by over 35 million people on TikTok, and has amassed more than two billion likes of all his videos combined; most feature him spending time with his father and sisters, taking on internet challenges and singing his original songs.
He hasn’t tweeted a single time since the creation of his Twitter account in August 2021; Keemokazi’s nevertheless ‘followed’ by 69 people on the network. He created the account only after he was asked to do so by many of his fans, but he never promised that he would be active on this social media network.
Keemokazi’s followed by close to 250,000 people on Facebook and isn’t following anyone back; he’s quite active on the network despite not being as popular as on Instagram and TikTok. He usually uploads new content every day and his most recent post was on 15 January 2024, when he shared a video featuring him joking about deleting his TikTok account.
Love life and relationships
Keemokazi’s highly secretive when it comes to speaking about his love life on the internet but this has only led his fans to start rumors about it.
It’s believed by many that Keemokazi’s today in a relationship with a non-celebrity American girl, and that he prefers to keep this to himself because they want to have a normal relationship; this hasn’t been addressed by Keemokazi.
There are also some who claim that his secrecy might be because he’s gay, but no evidence has been provided to support these claims.
Keemokazi seems to be unattached as of January 2024, doesn’t have children and hasn’t married.

Despite being 21, Keemokazi’s still living with his parents and siblings, and they’re all quite close to each other; this is because they have traditional Syrian values, and some of Keemokazi’s fans believe that his wife will one day move in with him and his family rather than the two living alone.
He’s passionate about dancing and took lessons for several years while still a teenager.
Some of Keemokazi’s favorite singers and bands are The Weeknd, AC/DC and Ed Sheeran.
He’s a huge fan of anime and some of his favorites are “Attack on Titan”, “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” and “Death Note”.

Keemokazi’s a fan of fast cars and has recently bought a brand new Porsche; he’s featured it in some of his Instagram pictures.
Keanu Reeves is one of his favorite actors, and a couple of his favorite movies are “The Matrix Reloaded”, “Street Kings” and “Destination Wedding”.
