With a brand value of 84 billion U.S. dollars in 2023, the short video pioneer TikTok/Douyin surpassed Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) to be the most valuable Chinese brand. The second placeholder was valued at 72 billion U.S. dollars, followed by State Grid within a striking distance.
