Love Island cast REVEALED -including stunning nurse & hunky footballer (2024)

HERE are the new stars of Love Island – and they mean business.

This year’s career-focused intake includes an account manager, a property surveyor and an investment specialist – a far cry from the show’s usual roll-call of models and influencers.

Check out the business-minded bunch entering the villa when the show returns to ITV1 this coming Monday, with Maya Jama hosting.

THE GIRLS

Mimii Ngulube, 24

38

38

MIMII – real name Michelle – is studying to be a nurse but has appeared in theatre productions in her home town of Portsmouth, including playing Marty in Grease.

Heading into the villa, don't expect Mimii to compete with another girl for a man.

"I’m a girls’ girl," she says. "My girls are my rocks and I’m theirs so I’ll be a good friend as well as going in there to find a man. I like dressing up so I’ll bring style, and I’d like to think I’m quite funny so I’ll make peoplelaugh."

And she won't put up with anyone trying to take her for a fool, either.

"I’m good at picking up on people's personality traits and side-eyeing those who might be a liar" she adds.

A friend said: “Mimi has both brains and beauty. She isn’t afraid to stand her ground.”

Samantha Kenny, 26

Samantha Kenny, from Liverpool, was the first girl to be officially announced by ITV after The Sun revealed the 2024 summer cast.

The stunning make-up artist, 26, promised to turn up the heat in the villa.

She said: "I think I will definitely bring some fire, I’m very opinionated and wear my heart on my sleeve.

"I’m really bubbly too so I’ll definitely have a laugh as well as bringing some scouse glamour."

Sam wants to "bag a co*ckney charmer she can bring back to Liverpool."

AS well as working in a beauty salon and taking on other jobs as a make-up artist, Samantha has a handful of brand deals as an influencer.

A source told The Sun: “She is used to blokes trying to crack on with her but she’s not a soft touch.”

Jessica White, 25

38

38

38

TRAVEL junkie Jessica says she is “happiest in the sun”.

The shop manager from Stockport has been to Thailand, Vietnam and Bali, to name just a few, in recent years.

The stunning brunette reveals she won't give the lads an easy time in the villa and they'll have to graft.

"I think I’m single because I don’t underestimate the fact that I’m hard work," she admits.

" I know what I want and I'm not easily pleased. When you’re a loud, outgoing woman, sometimes it can intimidate men - men don’t always want that.

" I think that can sometimes put people off me because I am quite loud and you can hear me before you see me. Some men love that though."

A source said: “Jessica is a free spirit. She is looking for someone to have fun with but it’ll take a lot to turn her head.”

Patsy Field, 25

DUE to a condition called Erb’s Palsy, one of Patsy’s arms is shorter than the other and is less functional.

Love Island Returns: Date Announced and New Contestants Revealed!

"It doesn't define who I am , but it makes me a little different, although I’ve learnt to get on with it and it’s never held me back," she says.

The investment worker from Orpington, Kent, adds: "My friends would say that I’m the loudest person in the group, I’m the one who’s always up for doing a dare, they’d say I was the life and soul of the party."

She is also close pals with Sophie Piper, who was in the villa in 2020.

Harriett Blackmore, 24

38

38

38

THE professional dancer and personal shopper from Brighton is most likely to be found dressed to the nines and travelling all over the world.

As The Sun on Sunday revealed yesterday, she is pals with YouTuber Saffron Barker – and the pair jetted to Dubai recently to top up their tans.

"Being a bit of an IT girl in Brighton, I’ve done personal shopping for the rapper Arrdee and one of my best friends is Saffron Barker," she says.

And Harriet could certainly be one to watch.

"I’ll bring the entertainment for everyone in the Villa, whether that’s making the girls laugh or making the boys turn their heads, I’m sure that I’ll bring the drama," she promises.

Nicole Samuel, 23

38

38

38

SHE is the youngest of this year’s girls – but pals say Nicole should not be underestimated.

The account manager from Aberdare, South Wales, has been getting advice on what to do on the show from her friend, footballer Scott van-der-Sluis, who was in the villa last year.

Nicole is a self confessed party girl, saying: "I’ve enjoyed being able to go on holiday with the girls and not having to worry about someone back home.

"All the girls are there texting in their room and I’m out till 4 in the morning living my best life."

She also has a secret talent, telling producers: "I became a world champion dancer in 2011, not many people know that.

"I was a professional street dancer."

THE BOYS

Ciaran Davies, 21

38

38

38

AS well as working as a surveyor, Ciaran plays for rugby union team Tondu rugby club.

Being from Wales, he is bound to be compared to previous winner, Liam Reardon.

In fact, Ciaran admits he once impersonated him.

"When I was in Malia on a boys holiday I pretended to be Liam Reardon from series 7 to get into a club because they wouldn’t let us in," he laughs.

"It worked and we ended up getting a private booth and free drinks all night."

Pals describe the lad from Pencoed, South Wales, as the “sweet boy next door”.

One told The Sun: “He’s the kind of guy you could happily take home to your mum.”

Sean Stone, 24

38

38

38

SWEETS firm boss Sean started his online business during lockdown.

But accounts show he had less than £5,000 in the firm last year – so a turn in the villa will hopefully boost his profits.

On what makes him a catch, Sean describes himself as: " 5’11, tall, dark and handsome. Not quite 6 foot. Great smile, great teeth, great arms and abs - the full package."

A pal of Hereford-based Sean said: “He’s not had a lot of luck in love but wants to settle down.

“He knows going into the villa will help him meet someone.”

Sam Taylor, 23

38

38

38

A TRAINED hairdresser, Sam works in a busy salon in Sheffield.

He moved to the city from Derby to kickstart his career and is a keen cyclist in his spare time.

With his muscles and tattoos, the hunk is bound to turn heads on the show.

But he urges viewers to see beyond how he looks.

"I’d say not to judge a book by its cover because how I look compared to what I do for work might not necessarily add up," he explains.

"You wouldn’t look at me as a tall guy covered in tattoos and think that I make girls' hair look pretty for a living."

THE oldest contestant in the villa this year may have a successful career as a recruitment manager - but he confessed he's unlucky in love.

Munveer, from Surbiton, Surrey, works for a management consultancy firm and lists his specialisations as financial services, healthcare and telecoms.

He's hoping cupid will "bless him" with love this summer.

He said: "I haven’t found the right girl, I’m quite picky and have high standards. Dating in London is horrible.

"You don’t know who’s single… but now you’re putting me in a place where everyone’s single so there’s no issues around that."

FOOTBALLER Ayo plays for Redbridge FC, winners of the Essex Senior Cup.

Hailing from Canning Town, in East London, he also has experience in front of the camera.

He was represented by the agency Kult Models before getting his break on the pitch.

Asked what makes him a catch, he says: "I feel like the way I carry myself is very respectful and I think people take to that and once you show who you are to somebody you get it back tenfold.

"The way I am gives off a good enough energy for people to feel comfortable around me."

Ronnie Vint, 27

HERE’S another wannabe with a connection to a previous Love Islander.
